Kurt SchmidtGerman 1901–1991, at Bauhaus 1920–25 1919-20 studies at the Kunstgewerbeschule Hamburg. 1920 - 25 studies at the Bauhaus Weimar with Johannes Itten and further with Kandinsky and Schlemmer. 1923 premiere of the "Mechanisches Ballett". 1925 moves to Stuttgart and works at the workspace of a class mate. Friendship with Willi Baumeister. Studies with Adollf Hölzel 1927. After war captivity working as decorator and furniture painter.
