David P. Shterenberg

                 1881 Schitomir - 1948 Moskau 
                studied 1906-12 in Paris at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts 
                  and at the Academie Vitti by Kees van Dongen. 1917-18 he was 
                  commissionar for art matters in Russia. He worked and tought 
                  as a book designer during the 20ies. Participation on many important 
                  exibitions in Italy, France and Russia.
