"I make portraits in which I pose the situation.
I create them. A new moment arises. Whenever people
disrobe for my photos, a wish comes true for me,
a little yearning, to enter the private room of my
grandmother, of my mother Saryas. I don't try
to depict what is, but to show something that can
only be evoked through the act of photographing.
My fantasies aren't concrete; they acquire
a body through the photos. I close my eyes and the
images flow."
