Jean-Pierre Vasarely, known under the name Yvaral (born January 25, 1934 in Paris; † August 2, 2002 there), was a French painter, computer artist and kinetic artist as well as a representative of Op Art. In 1960, along with Julio Le Parc, François Morellet, Horacio Garcia Rossi, Francisco Sobrino and Joël Stein, he was one of the co-founders of the artist group Groupe de Recherche d'Art Visuel (GRAV). .
